I think we all like some kind of protection on our devices, be it an iPhone or an iPad or even one of those "other" phones. Over the years, XO Skins has provided extremely good scratch protection for a number of devices, not just Apple products, and they really cover the gamut from laptops to iPads to Blackberrys to iPods and pretty much anything in between. I've used their product on my stuff since the iPhone came out, and have always found their product to be top notch. The contest for the free XO Skins for iPhone 4 owners ends tomorrow (enter by replying on the contest page), but XO Skins wants everyone to feel like a winner so if you use the code APPLETHOUGHTS2OFF you can get $2.00 USD off your purchase. I believe the code will work on any of the products they sell at XO Skins and is good until 12/31/2010.

The folks as XO Skins have generously offered two sets of front and back protection for iPhone 4 owners that play this contest. All you have to do is own an iPhone 4 (or know someone that does I suppose) and reply to this message. The contest ends Friday, July 23rd at noon Pacific (UTC/GMT -7 hours). I've used XO Skins since the iPhone 3G came out. In fact that XO Skin is still on that iPhone (my son uses it now) still providing protection. I've also got one on my recently retired 3GS, so I was happy to see they came out with a version for the iPhone 4. If you aren't familiar, XO Skins are a thin layer of polyurethane that provides protection to a wide variety of electronic devices, such as phones, laptops, GPS devices and much more. I just posted a review of the XO Skin for the iPhone over at Apple Thoughts, and the kind folks from XO Skin decided to give away some of their products to our lucky readers! They cover a wide variety of products, from Apple MacBooks to Dell Laptops to Palm to Blackberry to, well, you get the idea. Since they do cover a wide variety of products, we are going to make this a network-wide contest, four winners total!
